MediaTek launched the Dimensity 9000 SoC last month and it is manufactured using the TSMC’s 4nm process. There are several reports that OnePlus 10 will be equipped with MediaTek’s flagship SoC, however, there is no official announcement regarding the OnePlus 10 by the company.

It bears mentioning that the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro will be announced tomorrow (January 4) and an official looking teaser video of the smartphone has already been leaked on the internet and tips that the OnePlus 10 Pro will launch on 11 January 2022 in China.

Tipster Yogesh Brar, along with MySmartPrice, has tipped that OnePlus is currently developing a smartphone with the newly launched Dimensity 9000 SoC and that the device may very well be the OnePlus 10. However, the company has not any official announcement regarding the matter and it might not end up being the case.

The tipster also suggests that OnePlus will soon start testing their smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC in the global markets. Furthermore, the company is said to test the device with Oppo’s new unified OS, which will launch later this year. It is also being speculated that upcoming OnePlus 10 may run Android 12-based ColorOS 12 or OxygenOS 12.

MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 SoC is manufactured with TSMC’s 4nm process and integrates 10-core ARM Mali G710 MC10 GPU and MediaTek APU 590. It is pertinent to mention that the semiconductor manufacturer has announced that the first smartphones with the Dimensity 9000 SoC will be launching in Q1 2022 from manufacturers like Oppo, Honor, Vivo, or Xiaomi.
