Once again Internet outage across Pakistan

The Supreme Court (SC) has announced its verdict in the constitutional crisis case, declaring the ruling of the National Assembly (NA) Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri as null and void for being violating the Article 95 of the Constitution of Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the National Assembly will be restored and hold the No-Confidence Motion on 9th April 2022 (Saturday) as per the verdict of the Supreme Court.

Furthermore, the apex also declared that the decision taken by President Arif Alvi regarding the dissolution of the National Assembly and all decisions have been nullified.

The case was being heard by Supreme Court’s five-member larger bench – headed by Justice Bandial and comprising Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Aijaz-ul-Ahsan, Justice Mazhar Alam, and Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel, who announced the unanimous verdict in the case.

The Supreme Court said that Prime Minister was not eligible to dissolve the National Assembly and ordered the restoration of the NA and vote of no-confidence to be held on 9th April 2022 at 10:00pm.
