KIA Lucky Motors have notified of another massive hike in the price KIA Picanto, KIA Sportage, and KIA Stonic in Pakistan. According to the notification issued by the company, the hike in price of these KIA vehicles have been announced due to the devaluation of Pakistani currency against US Dollar (USD to PKR) and the increase in sea freight charges for the import of parts.
It is pertinent to mention that it is the company has increased the price of its cars for the third time this year. The new price of KIA Picanto, KIA Sportage, and KIA Stonic in Pakistan has gone into effect immediately (18 April 2022). The new prices of these KIA vehicles in mentioned below.
KIA Picanto Price in Pakistan
The price of KIA Picanto M/T in Pakistan has increased by Rs. 200,000 from the old rate of Rs. 2,400,000 to the new price of Rs. 2,600,000, while the price of KIA Picanto A/T has been raised by Rs. 200,000 as well, which brings the new price of the vehicle to Rs. 2,700,000 from the old rate of Rs. 2,500,000.

KIA Sportage Price in Pakistan
The price of KIA Sportage Alpha variant in Pakistan is now Rs. 5,300,000 after an increase of Rs. 300,000 from the old rate of Rs. 5,000,000, while the price of KIA Sportage FWD has been increased by Rs. 300,000 to Rs. 5,800,000 from the rate of Rs. 5,500,000. Meanwhile, the price of KIA Sportage AWD is now Rs. 6,300,000 after an increase of Rs. 300,000 from the old price of Rs. 6,000,000.

KIA Stonic Price in Pakistan
The price of KIA Stonic EX in Pakistan is now Rs. 4,425,000, which has increased from the old price of Rs. 4,150,000 by Rs. 275,000, while the price of KIA Stonic EX+ has been revised by Rs. 275,000 to Rs. 4,725,000 from the old rate of Rs. 4,450,000.

Terms and Conditions
The company has stated that new prices of these KIA vehicles will be implemented from 18 April 2022. However, those customers who have made full payment for their vehicles till 18 April 2022 will qualify for the existing price. Meanwhile, the customers who have been given a delivery date of April 2022 or earlier will not be charged the new prices as well. However, these customers are required to ensure that balance payment is deposited in the company’s account by April 28, 2022.
Furthermore, all provisional booking orders (PBOs) where the delivery date is May 2022 or beyond (reflected in SAP or DMS) will be applicable for revised ex-factory prices (increased rates).

It is pertinent to mention that KIA Lucky Motors had recently suspended bookings for its most popular models, including KIA Picanto, KIA Sportage, and KIA Stonic. The company did not mention any reason for the suspension but it did say that the decision was temporary.

Despite the announcement of new prices, the booking of these vehicles are still closed, but they are likely to resume in the coming days.
