Govt Lifts Restriction on Islamabad Market Timings

Islamabad authorities have announced their decision to lift restrictions of market timings until Eid ul Adha (10^th July 2022).

According to the details, the restriction on market timings in Islamabad has been lifted until 10^th July 2022. However, the notification adds that the restriction will be reinstated from 11^th July 2022.

It is pertinent to mention that Islamabad authorities had announced a restriction of closing shops and establishments by 9:00 PM in order to conserve energy and overcome the increasing amount of loadshedding across the city.

The decision to lift the restriction on market timings comes a day after Punjab Chief Minister announced the same to allow people to do their Eid shopping.
