Punjab School Education Department has issued new school timings to be followed once educational institutions open after summer vacation from 1 August 2022.
According to the notification, the boys’ schools in the province will open at 7:30am and will close at 1:00pm from Monday to Thursday, while the timings for girls’ schools will be from 7:15am to 1:00pm from Monday to Thursday.
Meanwhile, the boys’ schools will close at 11:30am and girls’ schools will close at 11:00am on Fridays.
Furthermore, the timings for double shift schools will be between 7:00am to 12:00pm in the first half and the second half will take place from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
However, the given timings for schools in Punjab will change for the winter season from October 15.
It is pertinent to mention that Punjab Government had announced summer vacations in the province from 1 June to 31 July 2022.
