Government Withdraws Tax on International Calls

Providing relief to a large number of citizens working outside the country, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Tuesday announced to withdraw the tax on incoming international telephone calls.

According to a report, the PTA has issued a letter regarding the withdrawal of the tax. 
Earlier, the Lahore High Court (LHC) had sought a reply from the PTA regarding the levy of an additional tax on incoming international telephone calls.
