Apple Watch Pro May Not Be Compatible With Older Bands

The upcoming Apple Watch Pro may not be fully compatible with older bands due to its larger size. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman made the claim on Twitter, saying that older bands “may not fit as well or look as seamless given the size of the new watch.”

Apple is expected to be announcing a new Apple Watch at an iPhone event next week. In addition to the standard Apple Watches, the company is expected to launch a Pro version of the Apple Watch, which may cost over $900 and have a larger 47mm case.

In comparison, the Apple Watch Series 7 comes in 41mm and 45mm versions, which means that it will be the first time Apple Watch users will be required to purchase a new band specifically for their new Apple Watch Pro. However, it seems unlikely since its not like Apple to introduce an element of incompatibility with older bands with launch of the new Apple Watch models.

The Apple Watch Pro is expected to have a larger battery and its size may be too large for most users. Furthermore, the upcoming Watch Pro is also rumored to be equipped with a body-temperature sensor as well. Meanwhile, we still don’t know much about the upcoming standard Series 8 watches.
