The Government of Sindh has announced a holiday for all educational institutions, including schools and colleges, which will remain remain closed on 17 September 2022 on the occasion of Hazrat Imam Hussain’s (RA) Chehlum Chehlum (20th Saffar, 1444).
In a notification issued regarding the school holiday, the Sindh Education Department stated that all public and private educational institutions shall remain closed on 17 September 2022 as it has been declared as a holiday throughout the province.

Furthermore, the Sindh Government has also banned pillion riding in the province for two days (September 16 and September 17, 2022)
