Latest Petrol Prices in Pakistan – 1 October 2022

The newly appointed Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar, on Friday announced an reduction in the Petrol Prices in Pakistan from 1 October 2022 after an approval from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. According to the details, the Price of all Petroleum Products have been slashed in order to provide relief to already inflation burdened people.

According to the announcement, Petrol Price in Pakistan has been decreased by Rs. 12.63 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) in Pakistan has been slashed by Rs. 12.13 per litre. Meanwhile, the Price of Kerosene Oil has been a reduced by Rs. 10.19 per litre and the Price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has been cut by Rs. 10.78 per litre.

This will bring the Price of Petrol in Pakistan at Rs. 224.80 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel will be Rs. 235.30 per litre after reduction. Meanwhile, the new Price of Kerosene Oil will be Rs. 191.83 per litre and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) will now be sold at Rs. 186.50 per litre.

Petrol Prices From 1 October 2022

The Latest Petrol Prices in Pakistan will come into effect from 1 October 2022 and will remain unchanged for the first half of the month till 15 October 2022.

“In wake of the reduction of petroleum products prices in the international market and with a view to provide relief to the consumers, Government has decided to decrease the prices of petroleum products.” said the notification issued by the Finance Divison.

It is pertinent to mention that development comes after Finance Minister Ishaq Dar held talks with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to reduce the Petrol Prices in Pakistan and introduce other relief measures for the inflation burdened population.

The Finance Minister also announced an extension in the filing of income returns till 31 October 2022.
