Faisalabad Police has finally resolved the murder case of a 15-year-old TikToker, Nayab, after 18 days. According to the details, the younger brother of slain TikToker Nayab, named Taimur, has turned out to be the murderer as he was jealous of his brother popularity on the social media platform.
The young TikToker’s body was found in Millat Town, Faisalabad, and the police had been looking for the culprit for the last 18 days. However, the police has now come to the conclusion that Nayab’s younger brother, Taimur, had committed the crime out of jealousy over his popularity on TikTok.
According to the police, the incident took place when both Nayab and Taimur went out on November 11. “Taimur had allegedly murdered his brother by cutting his throat using a knife.” the police said, “The accused had levelled murder allegations of give unidentified persons and staged a drama for being tortured.” the police added.
Faisalabad Police added that Taimur had confessed to murdering his brother, TikToker Nayab, to his father, who had secured interim bail for him. Taimur had originally given a false statement to the police saying that both brothers were traveling on a motorcycle when unidentified persons tried to snatch their phones and ended up killing Nayab.
