Sazgar BAIC has announced an increase in the BAIC BJ40 Plus Price in Pakistan from next month (1 February 2023) for all new orders and bookings. Although, the company did not mention a specific reason behind the price hike, we can assume that decision was taken due to worsening economic conditions and import restrictions for the automotive sector.
However, Sazgar BAIC isn’t the only company to increase prices as Toyota Pakistan has also hiked prices for its best-sellers and other companies are expected to follow considering worsening economic conditions and import restrictions for automakers.

Taking to social media, Sazgar BAIC announced that BAIC BJ40 Plus Price in Pakistan has been increased to Rs. 9,995,000 from the old price of Rs. 9,295,000, which means an increment of Rs. 700,000.
The new price for the BAIC BJ40 Plus 2.0T will become applicable from next month (1 February 2023), so if you were planning to buy the BAIC BJ40 Plus 2.0T, now might be a good time to get it as people can still buy the vehicle at the old price if they book the car and pay the full price (Rs. 9,295,000) by January 31, 2023.
