Anchorperson, Imran Riaz Khan, has been arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from Lahore Airport.
According to the details, the journalist was arrested from Lahore Airport while he was departing for the United Arab Emirates.
Imran Riaz Khan was reportedly arrested over some controversial statements.
The development comes just a few hours after AML chief and PTI ally, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, was arrested by Islamabad Police.
Imran Riaz Khan’s arrest has sparked great criticism by citizens on Twitter.
Reacting to the arrest, PTI leader Asad Umar claimed that terrorists are roaming free while Sheikh Rasheed and Imran Riaz Khan are behind bars.

It is pertinent to mention that Imran Riaz Khan was also arrested last year in July 2022.
