With every automotive maker adjusting prices to account for increased taxation, Changan Pakistan has increased car prices for the second time in February to account for the extra 1% General Sales Tax (GST) imposed by the Federal Government.
According to the company, the price of Changan Alsvin, Oshan X7, Changan Karvaan, and Changan M9 in Pakistan have been increased and new prices will be applicable from today (27th February 2023).

Changan M9 Price in Pakistan
The price of Changan Sherpa (M9) in Pakistan has been increased to Rs. 2,469,000 after a hike of Rs. 20,000 from the old rate of Rs. 2,449,000.
Meanwhile, all other automotive companies have already increased their prices in Pakistan following the imposition of 18% General Sales Tax (GST), a 1% hike from the previous rate, by the Federal Government to recover the budget deficit and meet demands of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to resume the loan programme.
