Kia Corporation has released a set of teaser videos showcasing the upcoming Kia EV9 SUV, a full size battery-powered electric SUV. According to the the company’s press release, the Kia EV9 will help accelerate the company’s transformation towards an EV-only mode of transportation.
The Kia EV9 teaser video showcases the silhouette of the company’s flagship SUV, which features a prominent front and a sleek body surface. Furthermore, the striking lighting patterns created by the headlights and taillights complete the EV’9 bold look.
Moreover, the teaser video also showcases the Kia EV9’s distinctive blend of sleek and sculpture design and confident and assertive geometry.
The Kia EV9’s name comes from Kia’s EV nomenclature, which combines the prefix ‘EV’ (electric vehicle) with a number ‘9’, which represents the model segment among Kia’s dedicated lineup of EVs.
Like the Kia EV6, the Kia EV9 also utilizes the company’s dedicated battery electric vehicle platform called the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP).
