Punjab Announces Public Holiday in Lahore on March 11

The Government of Punjab has announced a public holiday in Lahore on 11 March 2023 (Saturday) on the occasion of the urs of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain.

According to the notification issued by the Punjab Home Department, there will be a public holiday observed in Lahore on 11 March 2023 (Saturday) across Lahore Disctrict.

“It is hereby notified for general public that a Local Holiday in Lahore District shall be observed on 11th March, 2023 (Saturday) on account of “Annual Urs Mubarak of Hazrat Madhu Lal Hussain (R.A)”. the notification read.

It bears mentioning that all educational institutions in the city will also remain closed on the day.
