Shalimar Express Train to Be Restored From May

Pakistan Railways (PR) has announced to restore the Shalimar Express Train between Lahore and Karachi from 1^st May 2023.

The decision was made in a meeting presided over by Railways and Aviation Minister, Khawaja Saad Rafique at the PR headquarters in Islamabad.

Pakistan Railways has also issued a notification in this regard and informed of the timings that will be followed by Shalimar Express (27-UP/28-DN) running between Lahore and Karachi.

According to the notification, the following timings will be followed by Shalimar Express:

Furthermore, the Railways Minister has directed to upgrade the Karakoram Express and Pak Business Express in line with the Green Line Train.
