However, the Government is yet to issue an official notification regarding Eid-ul-Fitr holidays in Pakistan.

Last week, it was reported that the Government was mulling to announce four to five Eid holidays, depending on the sighting on the Shawwal moon with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif making the final decision.

It was reported that if Eid falls on Friday (21st April), the holidays would be observed from 20th April to 23rd April. However, if Eid-ul-Fitr falls on Saturday (21st April), the holidays would be observed from 21st April to 24th April.
