Bykea ride-hailing app hacked

One of the popular ride-hailing app Bykea was hacked earlier today, however, Bykea officials restored it and issued the statement on social media.

Earlier users reported receiving inappropriate messages from the Bykea app.

According to the Bykea Officials, The statement was released a while ago stating “We apologize for the inappropriate messaging sent through Bykea. We can confirm that this was a third-party communication tool which got compromised, our team has restored it. The Bykea app is fully functional and safe to use. Pakistan Zindabad.”

The Bykea app contains the personal information of over two million users across Pakistan specifically from Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad.
