In an unfortunate incident, armed robbers opened fire at a car late at night on Srinagar Highway in Islamabad as it was coming from the airport. However, the family was able to escape the robbers but the car and belongings suffered severe damage.
According to the details, the incident occurred around 12 am on Wednesday when a citizen named Aziz ur Rehman was traveling with his family from the airport after picking up one of his cousins.

As soon as the he reached Police Lines Road on Srinagar Highway, armed robbers stopped the with the intention of looting. However, Rehman drove the vehicle when he saw weapons after which, the robbers opened fire at the car.
The firing caused major damage to the car and all belongings. However, the driver and rest of the family miraculously survived and were able to escape. Furthermore, an FIR has been registered at the Ramna Police Station.
