Govt to Add Radio Fee and Increase TV Fee in Electricity Bills

The Federal Government has decided to add a radio fee to consumers’ electricity bills as well increase the current TV fee, which is going to increase the burden on the inflation stricken population.

According to the details, the Ministry of Information has prepared a summary to charge Rs. 15 from consumers as radio fee, which is going to be handed over to Radio Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the Finance Ministry has confirmed that state TV fee will be increased from Rs. 35 to Rs. 50 for all consumers.

The officials added that the decision was taken on the recommendation of the Senate Committee of Finance and Revenue.
