In order to maintain law and order situation, mobile phone services will remain suspended in Punjab on 9th and 10th Muharram ul Haram, says the Punjab Home Department.
Furthermore, the Government has opted to deploy army and Rangers in 13 sensitive districts of Punjab during Muharram.
These districts include Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Jhang, Bhakkar, Layyah, Multan, Sahiwal, Chakwal, Rajanpur, Bahawalpur, and Rahim Yar Khan.
Furthermore, mobile phone services will also remain suspended in these districts of Punjab on the 9th and 10th Muharram.
A notification will be issued soon in this regard.
