The federal government has announced new office timings in Islamabad for all federal government offices. According to the notification, all the federal government offices in Islamabad will follow new working hours with immediate effect.
As per the new office timings, the federal government offices in Islamabad will remain open from 8:30 am to 4:30 am throughout the week (Monday to Friday). It is pertinent to mention that previous working hours for government offices were 7:30 am to 3:30 am.
The office timings have been changed keeping the winter season in mind. Furthermore, the notification also mentioned that employees will get a 30-minute lunch break and prayer break from 1:00 am to 1:30 pm.
Moreover, the federal government has also revised school timings in Islamabad for the winter season.
