The current synoptic situation indicates the prevalence of continental air across the majority of the country. Consequently, the projection leans towards primarily dry conditions in most areas, with the upper regions of Pakistan expected to experience colder weather starting Sunday evening and persisting over the following two days.

Fog is likely to be a factor in the plains of Punjab, upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during morning and night hours, potentially affecting visibility for commuters on motorways and highways.

In Islamabad, temperatures are expected to range between 7 to 9 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday. Similarly, Rawalpindi is expected to see minimum temperatures between 10-12°C on Monday, dropping slightly to 9-11°C on Tuesday.

The last 24 hours witnessed dry weather dominating most parts of the country, with notably cold conditions prevailing in the northern regions. Leh maintained its status as the coldest spot, with temperatures plummeting to 5 degrees Celsius below freezing.

Recent temperature recordings for Islamabad marked the minimum at 9°C, while Rawalpindi recorded a minimum temperature of 12°C. Relative humidity during the morning was noted at 94% in Islamabad and 79% in Rawalpindi.
