Weather Update: Dense Fog Covers Punjab

Punjab is covered with dense fog with low visibility across major cities and highways, including Lahore, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Okara, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Khanewal, Multan, Khanpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Hafizabad, Bhakkar, Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, and surrounding areas.

Therefore, it is advised to plan your travel after checking in with updates from Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) or the National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) on their official websites or social media channels.

Meanwhile, the weather is expected to remain cold and dry is most districts of the Punjab province, while it is like to remain very cold in Kashmir, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, and surrounding areas.

According to details provided by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Lahore, the maximum temperature recorded in Punjab was 29.4°C in Kotaddu, while the lowest temperature was recorded at -1.0°C in Murree during the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Kashmir recorded a maximum temperature of 25.6°C in Kotli and the lowest temperature of -2.4°C at Rawalakot during the last 24 hours. The weather is expected to remain the same tomorrow on Wednesday as well.
