The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police has launched virtual driving license facility, which allows its citizens to obtain their driver’s licenses from the comfort of their homes. According to the details, the new facility has been introduced on the instructions of the Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, to streamline the bureaucratic processes and enhance services.
The new service will allow citizens in Islamabad with a valid driving license to download a virtual driving license online by entering their information like Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) number, driving license number, and expiration date on the Islamabad Police’s official website.
This is especially helpful if you’re traveling and you’ve forgotten your driving license at home or lost it somewhere. Now, you can simply download a virtual driving license from the Islamabad Police’s official website in a few simple steps.
Furthermore, the new service allows citizens to renew their Islamabad’s driving licenses online from home, eliminating the need to stand in long queues for hours.
