AMD Unveils New Zen 4 CPUs and RX 7600 XT GPU

First and foremost, there is the Ryzen 8000G series of APUs that feature Zen4-based CPU models with integrated graphics. Although integrated graphics are currently found in AMD CPUs, the 8000G series stands out with a much more powerful graphical performance that promises a decent experience for gamers without the need of an additional dedicated graphics card.

There are four models in this diverse range, 4-core 8300G to the 8-core 8700G. Equipped with Radeon 700M graphics, AMD vows that these APUs can produce smooth 1080p gaming experience. Notably, the 8000G series is a breakthrough as AMD’s first to have an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that serves for AI acceleration.

AMD has also released four new CPU models to support the current AM4 platform. The Ryzen 7 5700X3D is the star of the show here, featuring an underclocked version of the well known 5800X3D with an impressive 96MB of 3D V-Cache.

The Ryzen 7 5700 that was previously restricted to system integrators has now been released for the DIY market. The Ryzen 5700 is essentially an updated version of the now-discontinued 5700G minus the integrated graphics.

Furthermore, the company launched the Ryzen 5 5600GT and 5500GT. The 5600GT carries the torch of its discontinued counterpart, 5600G but at faster CPU clocks. Meanwhile, the 5500GT, on the other hand is almost a brother of 5600G featuring only minor differences.

The announcements from AMD combine the concepts of innovation and support for existing platforms to provide a wide range of options that cater both mainstreams as well users who are enthusiastic.

Moreover, AMD has also revealed a new desktop graphics card – the Radeon RX 7600 XT that features a higher base frequency and boost clock with double the memory at 16GB. The card is priced at $329, just $60 more than the RX 7600.

These new products will become available later this month.
