Pakistan’s internet and social media services have been restored after a few hours of outage across the country. According to the details, all internet users in Pakistan faced extremely slow internet services and difficulty accessing social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter.
Internet services became degraded with social media being inaccessible to users around 06:30 pm for majority of users around the country. However, all services have been restored after almost 3 hours of outage around 09:30 pm with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube now accessible to users.
This internet degradation and social media outages have become a regular occurrence in the country; however, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has not issued any statement regarding the matter. The internet and social media outage has become a nuisance for users, especially freelancers.
