The Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) has issued a list of candidates for the National Assembly (NA) ahead of the upcoming General Elections, which are scheduled to take place on February 8, 2024. According to the details, the party is set to field candidates on 212 seats, demonstrating a comprehensive electoral presence.
Conversely, the list reveals that PML-N has opted not to contest 51 seats in the National Assembly. Furthermore, the notable entries on the list include Mian Nawaz Sharif, who will be vying for victory in NA-15 Mansehra and NA-130 Lahore.
Additionally, Maryam Nawaz Sharif is slated to contest from NA-119, Hamza Shehbaz from NA-118, and the President of the Muslim League-N, Shehbaz Sharif, will be seeking mandates from NA-123 and NA-132.Moreover, the release of the candidate list signals PML-N’s strategic positioning for the impending elections, outlining its selected representatives for a significant number of National Assembly seats.
Meanwhile, there are no candidates contesting elections from the following constituencies: NA-4, NA-19, NA-20, NA-21, NA-22, NA-44, NA-45, NA-48, NA-54, NA-64, NA-88, NA-92, NA-117, NA-128, NA-143, NA-149, NA-165, NA-185, NA-190 to NA-204, NA-206 to NA-210, NA-212, NA-214, NA-215, NA-217, NA-218, NA-221, NA-223, NA-224, NA-228, NA-239, NA-245, NA-264, and NA-266.
