Pakistan is facing extremely slow and degraded internet and mobile phone services are still suspended across the country since 7:00 am due to security concerns during the General Elections 2024.
According to users, they are facing extremely slow internet, which is causing degraded browsing experience when trying to access social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and WhatsApp. Moreover, the matter is made worse because of suspension of mobile phone services across the country.
It is pertinent to mention that mobile phone services were suspended over 12 hours ago and show no sign of restoration despite the polling process ending at 5:00 pm across all major constituencies.
However, Ministry of Interior has posted on X (formerly Twitter) stating that services would be restored soon nationwide.
