Pakistan Super League 2024 (PSL 9) anthem featuring prominent singers Ali Zafar and Aima Baig has just been released on social media. Meanwhile, the anthem has been written, composed and produced by Ali Zafar himself, who has made a comeback after singing the anthems for the first three editions of the tournament.
Titled “Khul Ke Dekh”, the PSL 9 anthem was probably the most-awaited among the last few editions due to Ali Zafar’s return after immense pressure from cricket fans. Furthermore, the music video for the anthem features all six franchises and some short clips from previous editions of the tournament.
In the video caption, Pakistan Super League wrote, “Ready for the ultimate banger of the season? Time for the HBL PSL Anthem Reveal! For a nation that’s all heart, for people who live laugh and love boldly, this HBL PSL we invite you to sing along and let your hair down. Khul Ke enjoy, Khul Ke cheer and most importantly #KhulKeKhel praray!!”
PSL 9 Anthem Music Video
Pakistan Super League’s ninth edition (PSL 9) is scheduled to commence from February 17, 2024, at the PCB’s headquarters in Lahore with the opening match between two-time champions Lahore Qalandars facing off against Islamabad United, who won the 2016 and 2018 editions of the tournament.
