In a tragic incident, a food delivery rider was shot dead within the limits of Gulshan-e-Iqbal area in Karachi.
According to the details, the incident occurred on the University Road near Gulshan-e-Iqbal’s Block 4-A on Tuesday.
The police told media that the victim worked for Foodpanda and he was shot dead by unknown assailants during one of his deliveries.
The rider has been identified as Mohammad Waqas Hanif.
Furthermore, it wasn’t a snatching incident, as the victim had all his belongings on hand.
In 2021, an online food delivery boy was accidentally crushed to death in a lift of a residential building in Karachi’s Clifton area.
