Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has announced a massive hike in the price of the Suzuki Swift in Pakistan after the Federal Government raised the General Sales Tax (GST) from 18% to 25% on vehicles costing Rs. 4 million. However, the increased GST affects only the Suzuki Swift GLX CVT, while the price of other variants remains unchanged.
In a circular issued to authorized dealers, the company stated, “In reference to the S.R.O 370 (I)/2024 dated 8th March 2024 issued by the Ministry of Finance and Revenue, Government of Pakistan, the government has increased sales tax from 18% to 25% on locally manufactured or assembled vehicles if invoice price (excluding sales tax) exceeds Rs. 4 million for the vehicles falling under chapter 87.03 of the Pakistan Custom Tariffs.”
Suzuki Swift Latest Price in Pakistan.
According to the notification, the new price of the Suzuki Swift GLX CVT in Pakistan is Rs. 5,429,000, which has increased by Rs. 304,000 from the previous price of Rs. 5,125,000. Meanwhile, the price of other Swift models remains unchanged as they remain unaffected by the increased General Sales Tax (GST).

- Suzuki Swift GL: Rs. 4,421,000
- Suzuki Swift GL CVT: Rs. 4,719,000
- Suzuki Swift GLX CVT: Rs. 5,429,000
