The Karachi Bar Association has decided to ban the sale of Israeli products at the Sindh High Court (SHC) premises. They made an official announcement saying Israeli goods cannot be sold in the court’s canteen. Anyone who doesn’t follow this rule will face serious consequences from the committee. This shows the association’s strong beliefs on important global issues.
It’s important to note that recent violence from Israel has resulted in the deaths of over 34,000 Palestinians, according to health authorities in Gaza. The attacks have caused massive destruction in Gaza, forcing many of its 2.3 million residents to flee and leaving them with little access to food, water, or medical help.
A United Nations expert, after visiting Jordan and Egypt, reported that more people in Gaza are suffering from hunger. The Ministry of Health in Gaza also warned of the risk of epidemics due to poor living conditions and lack of clean water.
