Meta, the company owned by Mark Zuckerberg, has taken a significant step in the artificial intelligence race by integrating its AI chatbot into the web version of WhatsApp, according to a report by Minute Mirror.
In April 2024, Meta stunned the world by introducing its Meta AI chatbot across its various social media platforms, including Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook. The company aimed to enhance the quality of interactions and provide users with accurate information through this integration.
With this combination, users can now not only seek answers to their queries but also generate AI-generated images through the chatbot. Users can create images based on personal references or design business advertisements by describing their desired visuals.
To generate an image, users simply need to write the command “Imagine” followed by their query. This feature can be utilized in both personal and group chats. To access it, users need to open the desired chat, type “@,” and tag Meta AI, followed by “Imagine” and their text prompt.
To improve authenticity and prevent misuse of generated images, Meta has implemented a watermark feature that appears on the bottom left corner of all AI-generated images.
As Meta AI is a new feature, it is still evolving and may not be entirely accurate at times. However, through trial and error, users can create unique and engaging images to share on WhatsApp.
