Salam Air celebrated a milestone as flight OV563 from Muscat touched down at Islamabad International Airport at 2:55 AM.

Carrying 203 passengers, this inaugural flight was met with a warm reception that included a traditional water cannon salute and a ceremonial cake-cutting. Among the dignitaries present were the Omani Ambassador alongside the COO/Airport Manager. Salam Air executives and representatives from Menzies (RAS) also joined in the festivities.

The inaugural flight was welcomed with a traditional water cannon salute, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony attended by Omani Ambassador and the COO/airport manager Syed Aftab Gilani.

The Salam Air management and representatives of Menzies (RAS) were also present at the event.

Subsequently, flight OV564 departed for Muscat at 4am with 201 passengers on board. The airline plans to operate five Islamabad-Muscat flights per week.

Salam Air has announced plans to operate five weekly flights on this route, aiming to enhance connectivity and convenience for travelers between the two capitals.
