Jamat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem is currently in Islamabad and has shared a video statement urging all workers to arrive in the city by 5 pm today.
Hafiz Naeem mentioned that the government has blocked all major roads leading to Islamabad. However, he stated that the sit-in (Dharna) will take place at these blockades, with smaller sit-ins forming at each blocked road.

Meanwhile, 26 Number Stop has been partially blocked since morning, and commuters are facing traffic congestion.
According to sources, Faizabad, Rawat, Sangjani Toll, and Tarnol, all roads leading toward Islamabad have been sealed off.

Important Traffic Advisory: Anticipate Disruptions Due to Protests
- The traffic plan shared by authorities may become ineffective once protesters enter the city. Partially open roads and alternative routes are likely to experience severe congestion.
- Protesters may stage sit-ins wherever they are stopped.
- It is highly advisable to depart early to ensure a safe and timely arrival home. Please stick to your designated lanes to help maintain smooth traffic flow. While the expressway currently has two open lanes, a complete closure remains a possibility.
- Regarding evening road clearance, predictions are beyond my control.
- I cannot guarantee the safety of the following routes:
- If Rawat T Cross is closed, use Saddar Road in Rawalpindi as an alternative.
- If Peshawar GT Road is closed, use the Motorway.
- If there are closures on Srinagar Highway G-14, use Peshawar Road, GT Road, and Karnal Sher Khan Road.
- If Faizabad is inaccessible on the Expressway, those coming from Rawalpindi can use Khanna Bridge, Lehtrar Road, Captain Tufail Shaheed Road, and Park Road.
- Commuters traveling from Rawalpindi can also take 9th Avenue
