Earthquake in Islamabad and Peshawar adjoining areas

ISLAMABAD: An earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 4.9 was felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, and surrounding areas earlier today. The tremors were experienced around 11:05 am, causing panic among residents who quickly evacuated buildings and homes.

Initial reports indicate that the epicenter was located in a mountainous region, but exact details are yet to be confirmed by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). So far, there have been no reports of significant damage or casualties.
