KARACHI: The Sindh Education Department has officially announced the winter vacation schedule for all public and private schools and colleges in the province.

As per the notification issued on Tuesday, winter holidays in Sindh will commence on December 22, 2024, and end on December 31, 2024. Educational institutions across the province will reopen on January 1, 2025.

This schedule was finalized during a meeting of the Sub-Committee of the Steering Committee on Education, chaired by the Sindh Minister for Education.

Punjab Announces Longer Winter Breaks


Meanwhile, the Punjab School Education Department has also released its winter vacation schedule. Schools across Punjab will remain closed from December 20, 2024, to January 10, 2025, with classes resuming on January 13, 2025.

Balochistan’s Extended Winter Holidays.


Earlier, the Balochistan Education Department announced an extended winter vacation schedule for schools and colleges, particularly in the province’s colder regions.

According to the notification issued on Saturday, educational institutions in cold areas will remain closed from December 16, 2024, to February 28, 2025, for a total of 65 days.
