BYD and Mega Motor Company Kick Off NEV Deliveries in Pakistan

KARACHI: The world’s leading producer of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), teams up with Mega Motor Company (MMC) to start delivering vehicles. This exciting launch marks a key step toward greener mobility in the country. From today, customers in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad will start receiving their long-awaited BYD cars, showcasing the company’s dedication to the Pakistani market.

The goal? To deliver up to 100 vehicles within the first 48 hours of operations.

To make this transition smooth, MMC has opened BYD’s Experience & Care centers in prime locations across Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. These centers offer customers a top-notch experience to discover and interact with BYD’s advanced NEV technology.

The introduction of popular models like the SEAL and ATTO 3 highlights the confidence BYD and MMC have in Pakistan’s growing auto industry. As interest in NEVs surges, the partnership plans to expand by launching 15 centers across the country in 2025, making sustainable transport more accessible to all.

Lei Jian, Country Head of BYD Pakistan, shared his excitement: “We are proud to launch this important phase in Pakistan. At BYD, we’ve always focused on improving lives through innovative technology. We’re confident that our NEVs will play a big role in supporting Pakistan’s green future.”

Danish Khaliq, VP of Sales & Strategy at Mega Motor Company, added, “We’re excited to start delivering vehicles nationwide. This is just the beginning of an incredible journey for BYD and our customers, as we bring cutting-edge NEV technology to create a cleaner, greener Pakistan.”
