Sindh Announces School Holiday on March 22 for Youm-e-Ali

KARACHI, March 18, 2025: The Government of Sindh has officially announced a holiday for all public and private schools on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in observance of Youm-e-Hazrat Ali (R.A), which falls on 21st Ramzan 1446.

According to the notification issued by the School Education & Literacy Department, the decision was made in a Steering Committee meeting on Education held on November 28, 2024.

All educational institutions under the department’s administrative control will remain closed across the province.
