Islamabad Traffic Plan Issued for PSL Cricket Teams Movement

Islamabad Traffic Police has formulated a complete route plan for the arrival and departure of PSL cricket teams.

According to the traffic plan, more than 300 officers and personnel will be on duty to ensure smooth traffic flow. Due to the arrival and departure of PSL cricket teams, extraordinary security arrangements have been made at various times on Express Highway, Faizabad, Club Road, Murree Road, Faisal Avenue, and 9th Avenue Srinagar Highway.

Due to the route, there will be brief disruptions in traffic flow on Express Highway and Srinagar Highway. For traveling towards Blue Area, use H-8 underpass; for Sectors I and H, use the service road from IGP on Rawalpindi-Peshawar Road.

Murree Road to Serena and Faizabad via Rawal Dam will remain closed during the team’s movement. Citizens should use the service road connected to Srinagar Highway. Traffic going to and from Red Zone and Serena Hotel should use Margalla Road, Express Chowk, Jinnah Avenue, Bari Imam, and NADRA Chowk.

From Islamabad Chowk to G-11, use Service Road, Jinnah Avenue, and Margalla Road. For Sectors I and H, use the service road from IGP on Rawalpindi-Peshawar Road. Entry of heavy traffic into Islamabad is prohibited during team movement.

Murree Road to Serena and Faizabad via Rawal Dam will remain closed during the team’s movement. Citizens going from Red Zone to Faizabad should use Convention Centre and Club Road. Islamabad Traffic Police will be present at various locations to guide citizens.

Citizens from Bhara Kahu should use Kodiyaanwala Chowk to access Srinagar Highway. To enter Islamabad from Park Road, use Rawal Chowk to Faizabad to Zero Point Road. Those entering Islamabad from Murree Road, Expressway, or IJP Road should use Faizabad and Zero Point. Citizens traveling towards Bari Imam should use NADRA Chowk.

Farhan Abro

Hello! My name is Farhan Abro, and I'm based here in Islamabad. My journey in Pakistan's digital media really kicked off when I founded INCPak back in 2012. We built it from the ground up, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, to be a trusted voice for independent journalism. But while media is a big part of who I am, I'm also shaped by a fascinating mix of other passions. I'm deeply into automotive, which gives me a technical edge, but I also find my artistic expression through landscape photography and music. And I'm always diving into the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence. Bringing all these different worlds together the technical, the creative, the journalistic, and the entrepreneurial—it really colors how I see things and approach every project. It gives me a distinct perspective that I try to bring to everything I share
