PIA Resumes Regular Flight Operations After Pakistan Airspace Reopens

KARACHI: Following the complete reopening of Pakistan’s airspace after recent restrictions, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has begun resuming its regular flight operations.

The move comes after Pakistan and India agreed to a ceasefire, leading to the government lifting all airspace restrictions that had been in place.

According to a statement from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority, the country’s airspace is now fully operational, allowing flights to return to normal schedules.

Abdullah Hafeez, spokesperson for PIA, confirmed that Flight PK-750 from Paris—initially diverted to Quetta earlier in the day as a precaution—will continue its journey to Islamabad at 9:00 PM.

The airline expects full operational resumption by 10:00 PM, with delayed and suspended flights scheduled to take off through the night.

Additionally, PIA is making efforts to reach out to affected passengers who had either left the airport or were temporarily accommodated in hotels during the disruption, urging them to return for their rescheduled flights.
