Snapchat Down in Global Outage, Users Report Messaging Issues

Snapchat is currently down in what seems to be a global outage. On Thursday, users worldwide reported trouble sending and receiving messages.

Some users said they could post to their stories but ran into other bugs soon after. Reports are coming in from different parts of the world, showing widespread disruption.

According to Downdetector.com, the number of complaints has risen sharply, with many users pointing to app crashes and login failures.

Snapchat has not yet released an official statement on the issue.
