PORT ELIZABETH: Pakistan has clinched the second ODI fixture by one run and sealed three-match series by 2-0 against South Africa at George’s Park Stadium in Port Elizabeth tonight.

Pakistan batsmen played impressively and set 263 runs’ target for host team after scoring 262 runs in assigned 45 overs.

Pakistan bowlers also showed great spirit and did not allow the Proteas to achieve the target of 263 runs, set by the green shirts.

Hashim Amla played well and scored 98 runs on 131 balls, AB de Villiers also played impressively and added 74 runs in South Africa score but these brilliant performances could not prevent defeat from the guest team.

South Africa could score 261 runs after losing six wickets at completion of assigned 45 overs and Pakistan won the match by just one run on final ball of the match.

Pakistan opener Ahmad Shehzad scored 102 runs on 112 balls and provided strong foundation to the team for victory.

Ahmad Shehzad received Man of the Match Award for his outstanding batting in second ODI against very strong South African team.

It is worth mentioning here that the Pakistan team have first time won an ODI series against South Africa in history of cricket.
