KARACHI
Firing and violent incidents claimed three lives and injured two others whereas more than a dozen suspects were rounded up by law enforcing agencies in different areas of the metropolis.
According to police, a tortured body was found in the area of Mai Kolachi whereas a person was killed in Gulshan-e-Ghazi area at Baldia Town.
Another person was knifed to death at Muzaffarabad Colony at Landhi area.
A youth was injured during a robbery attempt in the jurisdiction of Gulistan-e-Jauhar Police Station. Another person was injured by firing during dacoity at Pir Baba Ground area at Baldia Ittehad Town.
Several suspects involved in the Lyari Gang War were arrested during raids by law enforcing agencies in different areas of Lyari. Arms and drugs were recovered from the arrested suspects in the process.
Police arrested two criminals in crackdowns at New Karachi and Orangi Town and recovered arms. According to latest information, the criminals were taken to unknown location for investigation.
