KARACHI – Target Killing continues as the driver of late social activist Sabeen Mahmood was killed when some unidentified armed assailants opened firing in Haideri area here on Tuesday.
As per details, some unidentified armed men opened firing in Korangi Ibrahim Haideri area – killing the driver of the late social activist Sabeen Mahmood – Ghulam Abbas. The deceased was an employee of Anti-Corruption department.
The police was investigating the deceased Ghulam Abbas regarding Sabeen Mahmood murder. In another incident, a man was killed and two others injured over resistance in dacoity in Manghupir Mianwali colony. The motorcyclists were looting citizens when upon resistance they opened firing, injuring three people.
The injured men were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Later one of the injured succumbed to injuries and two others were said to be in critical condition. Police cordoned off the area and started search operation.
