Govt cuts petrol price by Rs 8.48 per liter

ISLAMABAD: The government on Monday reduced prices of petroleum oil and lubricants (POL) up to Rs 8 per liter in view of slump in oil prices in the international market, ARY News reported.

According to details, government reduced price of petrol by Rs 8.48 per liter after which the new price will be 62.77. Price of high-octane lowered by Rs 2.98 per liter.

The rates of high-speed diesel also went down by Rs 4.67 and the revised rate will be Rs 71.12 per liter.

The government however rejected the summary of reduction of kerosene oil price by Rs 1.66, yet a cut of Rs 1.97 was approved for light diesel.
