KARACHI: A special anti-terrorism court (ATC) has ordered to transfer Shahrukh Jatoi, the main accused in the murder of Shahzeb Khan, from juvenile jail to central jail.
During proceedings today, the medical report pertaining to age verification of Shahrukh Jatoi was presented before the court.
A Seven-member medical board, constituted to ascertain Shahrukh Jatoi’s age, declared that he is over 19 years of age.
According to birth and academic certificates Jatoi was born on 27th November 1993, accordingly, his age is 19 years.
The new medical board was formed after the court rejected a report prepared by a police surgeon, who had concluded that Shahrukh appeared to be a minor.
The court also issued show cause notice to investigating officer and police surgeon for presenting wrong medical report.
