Caretakers announce three-day holidays for Eidul Azha

ISLAMABAD – The Caretaker government has announced three holidays for Eidul Azha this year, from August 21 to 23.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be public holidays on the occasion of Eidul Azha, according to a notification issued by the interior ministry.

Eid will be celebrated across the country on Wednesday, August 22.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee had on Monday announced that the Zil-Hajj moon had been sighted in the country and Eid-ul-Azha would be observed on August 22.
