ISLAMABAD – Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed told media that 31 Railway stations will be upgraded and double track from Peshawar to Lahore will be completed.
Sheikh Rasheed did not revealed the names of the Railway stations however it appears Karachi to Lahore and to Peshawar all the major stations will be revamped.
Railways minister calls out to business community as well to join hands with Pakistan Railways and promote their business also said “We are ready to rent our tracks”
Yesterday video went viral on social media Railway Minister Sheikh Rasheed travelling from Rawalpindi to Lahore via Parlour car as an ordinary person.
Sheikh Rasheed says report corruption and dire condition of Pakistan Railways on Social media on his Facebook Page and Twitter, People have already started sending suggestions and complaints to him.

- Ali Ahmad Proper washroom shoild be available at all junctions and stations. I remember i walked 10 min on rohri junction once but washrooms were useless.
- Sarfaraz Ahmad These ticket checkers privately sell slightly discounted seat/tickets with fake or no tickets during the journey & I have experienced it myself but refused to pay without ticket.. Its needs to be sorted out… Surely millions can be saved on each train on monthly basis.. Prompt action needed & will be appreciated.. Thanks.
